Centrally located and offering breathtaking views of Arthur’s Seat, the University’s venues are all just over one mile from the main railway and bus station, and seven miles from Edinburgh International Airport. Our main facilities include Pollock Halls, George Square, Old College and the Assembly Hall.
There can be few B&Bs located on the edge of a royal park, in the shadow of an ancient volcano and close to the parliament building of a major European capital. Edinburgh First Budget Rooms offer budget accommodation in eight halls, which are part of Edinburgh University. Available to rent during the summer months, these basic rooms provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, at a fraction of the cost of hotel accommodation.
