budgetstayuk is a website dedicated to showcasing university accommodation for budget breaks across the UK. You can book budget accommodation online through a safe and secure system provided in partnership with TravelStay Network and University Rooms. There are now over 70 sites available to book across the UK, including city centre, rural and coastal settings. Locations include Central London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Brighton and Leeds. You can also enjoy some unique experiences including staying in Durham Castle (part of Durham University) and in a prestigious Grade I listed building at Conference Oxford, designed by Victorian architect William Butterfield.
Bedroom types vary from standard rooms with shared bathroom facilities through to four star guest accommodation and there's something to suit all tastes and budgets. Choose from single, twin/double and triple rooms to flats and apartments. Rates are extremely competitive and there are bed and breakfast (B&B), room only and self catering options available. You can expect great value accommodation and a friendly service when staying at an academic venue. Many venues can also offer a number of dining options, from light snacks to formal restaurants plus bars and social areas to relax in. You may also be able to take advantage of onsite sports and leisure facilities during your stay.
budgetstayuk is a trading name of VENUEMASTERS, the consortium that promotes the facilities for meetings, groups and budget breaks at over 80 UK academic venues. It has been operating for over 25 years and last year helped around 700 people find the meeting or accommodation facilities they were looking for.
